DESCRIPTION
|
The MMWI medical writing certificate is designed to provide high level instruction for development of objective, evidence-based deliverables. This medical writing course instructs on methodology and standards for medical writing. The course content is built around a “case history” format, which ensures that information you gain on epidemiology will relate to the information you gain on biostatistics, and all the content will lead to effective development of comprehensive and concise deliverables, such as peer-reviewed manuscripts, monographs, abstracts and posters, etc. A practicum will be available in order to gain experience as a medical writer; however, this is not automatically granted to course participants. The practicum is granted on a case-by-case basis and decisions are based on competency with course content, proven medical writing abilities, and a few other criteria. There is a fee associated with the medical writing practicum.
The medical writing certificate consists of 14 courses which can be paid for individually at $500 per course, or paid for altogether at the price of $4,550 (325 per course). |
